A. Gary Chase has
made a career in broadcasting, musical & production arts, mixing
creative
skills with entrepreneurial abilities to build The Voice
Factory into a respected audio production firm
with an
Information Technology component serving large corporate customers.
Mr. Chase also enjoyed a 3 decade career
in music performance with Donnie & The Monarchs, an
entertainment icon in the Maritimes. The group retired from
touring in November 2010. His latest musical venture includes
performing as a cellist with Saint John Community orchestra - Alto
Mare, under the direction of Hok Kwan. As a producer he co-produced
the Marco Polo Suite album in 1993, and live on stage in 2002 at the
Saint John Imperial theatre with composer Jim Stewart, for Opera New
Brunswick.
After receiving a music degree
in 1973 from Mount Allison University, Mr. Chase entered a career in
broadcasting, writing, producing and broadcasting news on radio and
Television.
In 1981 Mr.
Chase formed Epcom Communications Ltd. Which later became Voice
Factory, as a musical and commercial production recording studio.
Beginning with radio commercials and independent artists musical
albums, the product list grew to include audio visual, video
soundtracks and development of commercial advertising campaigns.
Over the years the company has developed
into a multi purpose audio production house, supplying specialized
audio products to companies around the world.
Presently Voice Factory produces audio for world wide telephone
systems and e-learning
applications while still continuing to
produce commercials for radio & TV.
Gary is past president of the Saint John Association for Community
Living and the ACL
Employment Program, Past President of the
Fundy Business Association and Secretary of the Saint John
Power
